Christmas Party 2012!
Another Successful Year
Saturday, December 15 marked our 2nd Annual ICCF Christmas Party held right here at 920 Cherry Street. We welcomed
over
200 program participants through our doors to celebrate the holidays, as well as over 50 generous volunteers that
gave up their Saturdays to make the event special. A large THANK YOU goes to the students and parents from
Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Belmont, MI., who made this their volunteer event of the season.
The building was busy with festivities: from gourmet sandwiches, meatballs, and nachos on the plates, to choral
groups singing and instrumental groups playing, from volunteers distributed Zondervan Children’s Bibles, to
Christmas story time for the children. Lori Plummer painted beautiful Christmas designs on children’s faces,
and Santa handed out gifts and candy canes.
Similar to last year, the family portrait session was the main attraction. Mark Smith and Dionel Fisher from Big
Events Studios Photography shot 50 family portraits and donated them to our program participants. Families
were able to pick up their gift of an 8” x 10”, a 4” x 6”, and 4 wallets before Christmas Day. We were ecstatic to
be able to facilitate this meaningful gift for ICCF families this holiday seasons.
Thank you to all those who participated in this event to help make it a success
~ we are so very grateful!
