Introduction to Home Ownership
Class description
Deciding if you’re ready to own a home, trying to find the right mortgage and looking for the perfect house is overwhelming for any person. ICCF wants to make it easier by walking with you through every step. Introduction to Home Ownership consists of two sessions that will prepare you for home ownership by explaining:

How to prepare for home ownership

How to shop for a home

The advantages of home ownership

What to expect during the mortgage process

Low cost ways to get into home ownership
To complete the class you and anyone else on the future loan must attend the full 6-hour class, which entitles you to MSHDA, HUD and other program certification. Certificates will be granted directly to a lender or program staff when you are approved for one of their programs. We will keep records of your attendance as verification. Cost
$5 CASH per person that must be paid at the front desk.

Classes are held at ICCF, located at 920 Cherry Street SE.
Schedule
ICCF offers two 2-part classes monthly. Participants must attend both sessions to complete the Introduction to Home Ownership class.
